April 27th WOW Demonstration on Pen & Ink Techniques for Watercolor

WOW Demo: Pen & Ink Techniques #1 with Angela Wrahtz
"Healthy Snack" by A Wrahtz (c) 2015

Many of you know, Angela Wrahtz is teaching “Pen & Ink with Watercolor” down at the Keizer Art Association. As part of her teaching there, she incorporate techniques with the blendy pen, going beyond the Elegant Writer some of you are already familiar with.

Please join her for a demonstration of one of her new favorite secret weapons…the Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush a recent discovery. Unlike other blendable pens, this tool behaves is more flexible and offers colors (yay!) which allow you to start a painting with greater ease…or finish it with extra flare. She will show you how this tool can function for you at the beginning of an artwork or at the end to drop in details that sing.

Demo begins at 1:30pm at the Tualatin Heritage Center (THC) at 8700 SW Sweek Drive, Tualatin, 97062. Free to WOW members and $10 for guests. Membership materials available for folks who want to look at that and maybe sign up.

As a note to our guests, the Demo happens in the middle of the GPS—Group Painting Session—which is essentially open painting time together at the THC. You are welcome to come to the GPS as well which begins around 11am when tables are set up and goes through to about 5pm (sometimes break down is earlier.)
Come when you like and stay as long as you like.  Bring everything you need to paint.

Please RSVP to angela.wrahtz@comcast.net  if you are coming so the right amount of chairs are set up!
